We’re into Week 5 of the third module in OUH880 and we’re back looking at research questions in the context of SoTL, or Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
Apparently there isn’t much scholarship around workplace learning. Who knew? So we’re looking at the education sector again. We’ve been asked to analyse a couple of research papers in detail over the next few days. This is the first – Van Rooyen and Marais (2018) – a research paper on the use of mobile devices in higher education, conducted from the standpoint of social justice.
I did this review as a PowerPoint slide because I’m bored with writing text all the time. Here it is.

The next post will be about context (whoo!).
